Working under the philosophy 'original designs for life' Authentics have been manufacturing and distributing contemporary products designed by some of the leading international designers for over 25 years. The labware lighting range is a collaboration with British designer - Benjamin Hubert. Hubert has created a unique and versatile three-lamp set from hand-blown glass, designed to hang from the ceiling, sit on a table and/or to work as floor lamps. Working closely with Authentics, three of the most iconic forms of the original prototypes have been developed for global distribution.The lamps comprise of mouth blown opal white glass in a high gloss finish, complimented by hand turned bark topped cork stoppers from Portuguese cork factories.
Labware has won the Blueprint Best New Product award at 100% Design 2009. Benjamin Hubert awarded the EDIDA International Young Designer of the Year 2010 during Milan Salone.
